Senior UX Designer - design systems (Albuquerque, NM)

Stonegate Beacon Community Partners Group is a Albuquerque charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in donor records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
