Senior UX Designer - content design (Tucson, AZ)

Nova Pine Press is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for proofing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
