Senior UX Designer - content design (Tucson, AZ)

Bluepeak Kestrel Community Partners is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 994 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
