Senior UX Designer - content design (Seattle, WA)

Cedar Haven Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Seattle, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in tuition and subsidies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
