Senior UX Designer - content design (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Press and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in press runs. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
