Senior UX Designer - content design (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak North Medical and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around production lots that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in production lots. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
