Senior UX Designer - content design (San Jose, CA)

Bright Kestrel Early Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for meal programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
