Senior UX Designer - content design (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Beacon Financial Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 182 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in loan applications. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
