Senior UX Designer - content design (Sacramento, CA)

Greenridge Early Learning runs childcare centres in Sacramento caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 96 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
