Senior UX Designer - content design (Rochester, NY)

Northwind Kestrel Medical is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for complaint handling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in complaint handling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
