Senior UX Designer - content design (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Summit Thistle Financial and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a large organisation of about 378 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Design for tasks around payment disputes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in payment disputes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
