Senior UX Designer - content design (Rochester, NY)

Silverline Union Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Rochester, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 124 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Design for tasks around patient education that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in patient education. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
