Senior UX Designer - content design (Richmond, VA)

Greenridge Loom Early Learning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
