Senior UX Designer - content design (Reno, NV)

Amberfield Nest Press is a printer and publisher in Reno serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
