Senior UX Designer - content design (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Northwind Summit Early Learning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
