Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Bright Union Health runs clinics and patient services around Providence, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
