Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Fernwood North Early Learning runs childcare centres in Rochester caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
