Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Amberfield Willow Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Seattle. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. Families are partners. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
