Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Fernwood Rook Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Milwaukee plant. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around bindery work that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in bindery work. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
