Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Stonegate Ashton Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Sacramento. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a large organisation of about 352 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in account openings. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
