Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Highbridge West Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Grand Rapids working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
