Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Harborlight Vale Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Rochester, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
