Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Bright Ember Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
