Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Silverline Lakeside Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Boston serving households and small businesses, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in loan files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
