Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Redstone West Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Tucson. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around volunteer programmes that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
