Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Redstone Community Partners is a nonprofit in Anchorage supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
