Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Highbridge Willow Community Partners is a nonprofit in Grand Rapids supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in donor records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
