Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Greenridge Cobalt Community Partners Group is a Memphis charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
