Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Cedar Beacon Markets is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
