Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Fern Transit Planning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
