Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

Amberfield Kestrel Press Partners prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Kansas City plant, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of about 738 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in proofing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
