Senior UX Designer - content design (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Mill Arts Center Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around visitor services that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in visitor services. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
