Senior UX Designer - content design (Portland, OR)

Nova Kestrel Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Portland, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around pricing that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in pricing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
