Senior UX Designer - content design (Portland, OR)

Ironwood Thistle Medical Partners is a Portland company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
