Senior UX Designer - content design (Philadelphia, PA)

Cedar Cobalt Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Philadelphia, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in school calendars. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
