Senior UX Designer - content design (Philadelphia, PA)

Harborlight Summit Learning Group is an education provider in Philadelphia serving students and families, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in enrolment. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
