Senior UX Designer - content design (Orlando, FL)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Nest Early Learning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
