Senior UX Designer - content design (Orlando, FL)

Redstone Ember Community Partners Group runs community programmes across Orlando, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in volunteer shifts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
