Senior UX Designer - content design (Nashville, TN)

Silverline Rook Community Partners is a nonprofit in Nashville supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in food distribution. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
