Senior UX Designer - content design (Milwaukee, WI)

Harborlight Rook Learning Group is an education provider in Milwaukee serving students and families, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of about 510 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in learning materials. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
