Senior UX Designer - content design (Madison, WI)

Bright Wilder Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Madison, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Madison. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in underwriting files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
