Senior UX Designer - content design (Kansas City, MO)

Redstone Bright Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Kansas City, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 110 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in claims. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
