Senior UX Designer - content design (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Thistle Community Partners and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in food distribution. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
