Senior UX Designer - content design (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Pike Learning Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in attendance records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
