Senior UX Designer - content design (Kansas City, MO)

Bluepeak Nest Markets serves neighbourhoods around Kansas City with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
