Senior UX Designer - content design (Kansas City, MO)

Greenridge Pike Early Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
