Senior UX Designer - content design (Jackson, MS)

Harborlight North Medical is a Jackson company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around clinical evaluations that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in clinical evaluations. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
