Senior UX Designer - content design (Jackson, MS)

Summit Amber Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Jackson, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our content design. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
