Senior UX Designer - content design (Jackson, MS)

Highbridge Forge Transit Planning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on content design for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in route schedules. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
