Senior UX Designer - content design (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Amber Insurance Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be content design. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
